About Burns Harbor
Burns Harbor, a small community located in Northwest Indiana, developed around its largest employer, Bethlehem Steel, in the mid-1960s. The town’s natural resources are some of its most appreciated assets, offering numerous outdoor activities such as paddling, swimming, and fishing. The location of the Burns Harbor facility allows for access to many of the surrounding communities in Northwest Indiana such as Chesterton, Valparaiso, Michigan City, and LaPorte.

Cleveland is located in northeastern Ohio on the southern shore of Lake Erie. About I/N Tek and I/N Kote (New Carlisle, IN)
New Carlisle, IN is situated close to the Indiana/Michigan border in the area known as Michiana. It is 15 miles from South Bend, IN; 17 miles from Mishawaka, IN and 22 miles from Niles, MI putting it in the center of it all.

About Indiana Harbor (East Chicago, Indiana)
Indiana Harbor is the largest steelmaking facility in North America and is situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. Located in East Chicago, Indiana, it received its name due to its close proximity to Chicago, approximately 36 miles. East Chicago is full of diverse and vibrant neighborhoods filled with a variety of local markets and restaurants.
East Chicago is surrounded by several local communities including Highland, Munster, Schererville and Merrillville, Indiana. Its location also makes it ideal for those who wish to reside in Chicago or its southern suburbs.

Located just 60 miles north of Duluth in Virginia, Minnesota is a small town with quite some charm. Although Virginia was originally a logging community, it is now a thriving iron mining community and a leading source of iron ore for ArcelorMittal. Our Riverdale facility is located just 34 minutes from downtown Chicago. As such, many interns and Associates will opt to live in Chicago. Riverdale itself provides a small town atmosphere but Chicago offers all of the conveniences of living in a major city. While there are many neighborhoods that make up the city, some popular ones for our Associates are South Loop, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and Wicker Park.
